As a mom and a messy busy person, I accept that white is something I should not wear. But I was feeling like a challenge. I put on red lipstick, ate Mexican food, went to 2 doctors appointments and played with my dogs. The shirt survived!!

When there is an anomaly or crisis in your life. You can be mean and judge yourself or do the best you can to take care of yourself and your family.

Here is what I did:

Acknowledge my privilege
Took naps
Cancelled plans
Said compassionate things to myself
Watched tv & listened to audio books
Did organizing activities so I could feel “productive” but not stressed
